Ida Sand
The Stockholm-born jazz and soul singer and pianist is known for her powerful voice and emotional expressiveness. She studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and became internationally known in the music scene for her mixture of jazz, soul and gospel music. Sand has released several acclaimed albums, including ‘Meet Me Around Midnight’ and has collaborated with artists such as Nils Landgren and Joe Sample. Her music is characterised by a warm, soulful depth that is often compared to the great voices of soul. Ida Sand has established herself as one of the leading voices in Scandinavian jazz and inspires with her ability to combine genres in a personal and authentic way.
