Die Jazz Big Band Graz wurde 1998 in Österreich gegründet und gilt als eine der innovativsten Big Bands Europas. Sie verbindet traditionelle Big Band Arrangements mit modernen Jazz-, Funk- und elektronischen Einflüssen, was ihr internationales Renomee eingebracht hat. Unter der Leitung von Sigi Feigl und später Heinrich von Kalnein hat die JBBG zahlreiche Alben veröffentlicht, darunter "Urban Folktales". Die Band arbeitet oft mit Gastmusikern und Solisten zusammen und ist bekannt für ihre kraftvollen und komplexen Live-Auftritte. Die Jazz Big Band Graz steht für musikalische Innovation und genreübergreifende Klangwelten und prägt die europäische Jazzlandschaft nachhaltig.
