Jan Prax
Born in Karlsruhe in 1992, the jazz saxophonist and composer has made a name for himself with his fresh and versatile approach to jazz. He studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne and soon performed with various ensembles and bands, including the Jan Prax Quartet. In addition to his solo career, Prax is also active as a composer and arranger and has collaborated with artists such as Michael P. Mossmann and Nils Landgren. Jan Prax is regarded as one of the most promising voices in contemporary jazz, impressing with his passionate and dynamic playing style.
