Mulo Francel
The German saxophonist and composer is best known as a founding member of the successful ensemble ‘Quadro Nuevo’. His music combines elements of jazz, tango, world music and classical music and particularly reflects his passion for Mediterranean sounds. He has toured the world with ‘Quadro Nuevo’ and received numerous awards, including the ECHO Jazz. In addition to his work with the band, Francel is also active as a solo artist and has released several albums that highlight his versatility and improvisational skills. He is regarded as one of the outstanding German saxophonists who knows how to combine different musical styles.
