Leszek Mozdzer
If the Polish musician Leszek Możdżer, born in 1971, is considered today one of the most important discoveries in recent Polish jazz and one of the outstanding pianists on the international scene, it is due in no small part to his groundbreaking exploration of the boundaries between classical music and jazz.
He is the great romantic among European jazz pianists. His shimmering, technically unmatched playing is always intertwined with melodies full of lyricism and emotion. Moreover, Możdżer proves to be an exceptional improviser.
The Süddeutsche Zeitung simply describes him as "a phenomenon."
