Julia Hülsmann
The German jazz pianist and composer studied jazz in Berlin and has established herself as one of the leading voices in contemporary European jazz. She has released numerous albums with her ‘Julia Hülsmann Trio’, which are known for their lyrical, atmospheric compositions. Hülsmann's music is characterised by a clear, melodic structure and a subtle blend of improvisation and composition. She performs regularly at national and international jazz festivals and is recognised as one of the most influential pianists of her generation.
