Helge Sunde
The Norwegian jazz trombonist, composer and arranger has become known for his versatile orchestral works. He is the leader of ‘Ensemble Dada’, a big band celebrated for its creative blend of jazz and contemporary music. Sunde has composed for numerous European orchestras and works with renowned musicians and ensembles, including the NDR Big Band and the Ensemble Modern. He has received several awards for his compositions, including the Norwegian music prize ‘Spellmannpris’. Helge Sunde is regarded as one of the leading figures of modern jazz in Norway and has achieved international recognition for his complex and often humorous works.
