"Reverie at Schloss Elmau" presents nine reveries oscillating between jazz and classical music, in an intimate dialogue played by two world-class musicians. With Gwilym Simcock and Yuri Goloubev, two musicians have found each other who think and feel in the same categories, even from their musical DNA. Both are united by the will to transfer their romantic-classical vein into the jazz context and so the joint sound journey on "Reverie at Schloss Elmau" was a logical consequence.

Chick Corea calls him an "original, a creative genius," and Jamie Cullum, a star of the British music scene, declares him "our best young pianist": Born in 1981 and residing in London, Welsh pianist Gwilym Simcock undoubtedly ranks among the forefront of European jazz. Simcock made his breakthrough in 2011 with his solo piano recording, "Good Days at Schloss Elmau." His ACT debut was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize, the UK's most important cross-genre music award, making Simcock one of the 12 best albums in the UK, alongside world-renowned artists like Adele.
