Christian Muthspiel
The composer, conductor, trombonist, pianist and painter, born in Judenburg (Austria) in 1962, is internationally active in the field of jazz and improvised music as well as in the context of composed and new music.
This opens up a field of work in which he cooperates with countless sound bodies and artists as interpreters of his musical inventions, from small jazz bands to symphony orchestras and from solo performances to multimedia music theatre.
In recent years, Muthspiel has become increasingly active as a composer and conductor, creating very special concert programmes and series that often transcend genre boundaries.
