Vince Mendoza is one of the most versatile and prolific
composers, arrangers, and conductors of the past two decades.
He has won six Grammy Awards out of a total of 34
nominations.
His arrangements for a wide range of jazz and pop artists
include collaborations with Joe Zawinul, John Scofield, Charlie Haden, Al Di
Meola, Dave Liebman, Randy Brecker, the Yellowjackets, Joni Mitchell, Sting,
and Bjork. He has served as the principal conductor and honorary conductor of
the Metropole Orkest.
