Max von Mosch Orchestra
Max von Mosch's career is closely tied to the band max.bab,
to which he has belonged since its formation in 2000.
The saxophonist studied in Berlin and Amsterdam, then
continued his education in Canada and the USA at the Manhattan School Of Music
in New York. Finally, he pursued his doctorate at the New England Conservatory
in Boston.
Throughout his journey, Max von Mosch intensified his passion
for composition. Melody, harmony, and dynamics are equally important to him,
and he seamlessly blends American tradition with Scandinavian-oriented
modernity. Above all, he loves creating large-scale compositions that turn his
pieces into suites.
He can fully explore this passion with the "Max von
Mosch Orchestra," where he has gathered many of the most important and
highly regarded young German jazz musicians.
