With "Scarborough Variations", the second solo recording is now available, close to Chris Beier's 65th birthday on 5 May 2018. The depth and complexity of Beier's music is not expressed in a thousand notes on the new recording, but rather in its harmonic and melodic power, its often reduced but all the more refined compositions and the sheer endless references to the most diverse musical currents that open up when listening.
