Christian Muthspiel
The Austrian versatile jazz trumpeter, composer and arranger is particularly known for his unique approach and his collaborations with international greats. He studied at the conservatory in Graz and at the Berkeley College of Music before making a name for himself on the European and international jazz scene. His musical spectrum ranges from classic jazz standards to experimental, cross-genre projects. Muthspiel is also active as a teacher and music educator, including as a professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. His work is recognised for its creative versatility and outstanding contribution to contemporary jazz music.
