Gold for Youn Sun Nah

For 50.000 copies sold of her album "Same Girl", the korean singer Youn Sun Nah has just recieved the French Gold Award.
ACT head Siggi Loch accepted the award in place for Youn Sun Nah at the ACT Jubilee nigt at the Paris jazz club "New Morning".

Particularly in France, her second home, Youn Sun Nah has become a star - far beyond the jazz scene. "Same Girl", her second album for ACT, was the most sucessful jazz album in France in 2010 AND 2011.  Right after the release, the album reached #1 of the jazz charts, stays in the top 20 until today - over 80 weeks after the release and made it to the top 40 of the pop charts.

In Germany, Youn Sun Nah in 2011 received the ECHO Jazz Award as best international jazz vocalist of the year. With her unique mixture of French Chanson, pop, jazz and worldmusic and hear outstanding stage presence, Youn Sun Nah is clearly on her way to become an international star.
