LIVE AT SCHLOSS ELMAU (ACT 9758-2) by Joachim Kühn and Michael Wollny receives the renowned "Choc de l'année" (CD of the year) from the French Jazz Magazine / Jazzman.

The collaboration is a meeting of generations: Over three decades lie between Joachim Kühn, one of Europe’s most influential jazz musicians and Michael Wollny, probably the most important pianist in young German jazz. At the end of 2008, these two exceptional musicians got together at Elmau castle for a highly acclaimed duo-performance. LIVE AT SCHLOSS ELMAU is the impressive document of a unique collaboration by two virtuosos, who, in a respectful interaction, have found a magical, mutual expression.
